Conventional
bubble baths can contain many undesirable ingredients, some of which
commonly include sodium laurel (or laureth) sulfate, which can lead to
hormone disruption and skin irritation; fragrance or parfum, which can
be composed of anywhere from 1,500 to 4,000 different chemicals,
including harmful
phthalates;
and methylisothiazolinone, a chemical commonly used in antimicrobial
products, which is similar in function, purpose, and molecular structure
to Agent Orange! Be sure to check product labels carefully.
