These organic baby and child shampoos are safe and gentle, and free of harmful chemicals such as sodium laurel (and laureth) sulfate.  What is the problem with this chemical that is found in a majority of shampoos, soaps, and even toothpastes?  Other than being a main ingredient in garage floor cleaners and engine de-greasers, it is usually contaminated with 1,4 dioxane, a known human carcinogen.
